C# fans, rejoice! We’re very excited to announce that C# support is now generally available in Semgrep!
Semgrep’s parse rate for C# is now over 99.9% and there are now more than 20 C# rules online in the registry. If you’ve been waiting for C# support in Semgrep — your holiday gifts arrived early!
Building online C# support was truly a community effort and we must thank a few outstanding contributors:
Sjoerd Langkemper, who jumped into adding C# support to Semgrep back in August 2020, contributing more than 50 commits, and then kept pushing to improve C# support throughout this year.
Ahmet Akan, who contributed the first set of C# rules.
You can find all the C# rules in the Semgrep Registry or jump right in to writing your own rules in the Playground.
