Semgrep eventsIn this special edition of Brews for Builders, we're going continental – call it caffè con Claudio – as Semgrep's security researcher Claudio Merloni joins us for a virtual coffee tasting experience and an introduction to new Semgrep Agentic Workflows.
Guided by the experts at Square Mile Coffee Roasters (founded by James Hoffmann), we'll set up a "cupping" – the professional method used to evaluate coffee – and sample a selection of freshly-roasted seasonal coffees, together from the comfort of our own respective chairs.
We'll see the Workflows method too: 1) take code plus security context – our beans and origin notes; 2) combine program analysis with deterministic tools and AI reasoning – a precise recipe with barista finesse; and 3) produce reviewable security issues – ready to be taste tested.
Attendees will receive a tasting kit, shipped straight to your door – with five coffees, a cupping spoon, and a digital gram scale. You just need a kettle, six cups/mugs/glasses that hold 250ml each, and a spoon to take part.
